Originally by: Eluros On EVE Gate if you try add your own corp as a contact, no matter which standing you selecting you get the following error:

+1 ... confirmed.
I get the same error. i.e. Select your profile, select your corporation, and then click the "Add Contact" on the left. You get the error regardless which standing is picked.
I was able to add my alliance to my contacts with no problems.

Originally by: Xodd Hil EVE Gate shows "[Disbanded alliance]" instead of NONE in every corp's alliance history that I checked.
+1 ... Confirmed that.
I did find a corp that had some date info on what alliance the corp was in for just one of the previous alliances, but the corp had been in about 8 alliances, and all the others said "[Disbanded alliance," and I KNOW that that is not true.

Originally by: Ephemeral Waves When you jump through a gate - while zoomed in close enough to hear ship sounds - you get a burst of static, like a hot-mic infront of a fan.
How do you manage to break such simple things on every patch?
Ephemeral,
As far as I'm concerned, sounds have been screwed up since we were told they were going to be made much nicer -- in Apocrypha. Remember February of 2009 when it was written about the new Apocrypha expansion and the new audio engine:
"The Audio Engine allows more flexibility for our sound designers, meaning a complete revamp of a lot of audio effects including warping, jumpgates and cloaking. Brand new sounds will also grace Apocrypha's new visual effects."
Now see what actually happened: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1122856

So sad...

Originally by: RogueAnt On the overview, Distance is alinged the wrong way and does not update itself, for example you can warp to a gate but it says you are still 2au away but your actually at 0 and you have to keep tab+tabing

For me, as my ship moves toward an object, the distance column in the Overview list does update, but the distance on the "selected" window does not. Therefore, I can be right on top of a Stargate at 0 meters, but the "selected" window will indicate I'm at the distance I was when I last clicked the Stargate in the Overview list.
I'm can be at 0 meters and I can't jump till I once more click the Stargate in the list. At that point the Jump icon changes to indicate it is available for clicking.

we were both in same fight http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1325508

Yes. Once an item from the overview list is selected, the Selected Item box's distance doesn't seem to change till the selected item is clicked again.
I know this happens with structures when you are moving, and, from your post, it appears that it can happen when a ship is moving away from the player, too.
I thought it was bad when trying to approach and be at a Stargate and trying to be within the distance one needs to be to jump.
However, if it is affecting the distance not changing to targets, it is a MAJOR GAME MECHANIC PROBLEM.
hmmmmm

Edited by: Symlin Raahn on 27/05/2010 23:34:41 It seems like the EVE Gate Calendar always says there is 1 new event. Am I imagining this? I can't seem to find one I haven't seen before.
To clarify, this is on the EVE Gate, Home page on the right under "UPDATES" for the Calendar item where it always seems to say 1 or more.

That behavior seems stopped for some reason.
Consider it fixed.

Now it's doing it again. Says 1 new calendar post, but nothing is new there.

I looked everywhere and couldn't find it either, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger.
